IMPORTANT MOUNTING NOTE

The full back panel is designed to sit flat against sound supporting framing. The coop wall, support structure, site-specific mounting system, and installation substrate are not included. The completed box must be level, fully supported, and securely mounted before poultry use.

The guide includes orientation, finished dimensions, complete purchasing guidance, a measured component schedule, one-sheet layout, matched profile-wall construction, equal-bay setup, sloped-floor fitting, collection-lid alignment, wall-mounting guidance, commissioning tests, cleaning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optional after-build ideas.

WHAT THE PLANS BUILD

The finished box is approximately 42 1/2 inches wide, 20 1/2 inches deep, and 17 5/8 inches high. It contains three nominal 11 7/8-inch clear nesting bays.

The internal floor falls 10 degrees toward the protected front tray. Eggs pass beneath the entry step into the covered collection area, where a front-opening hinged lid provides access. A small drainage opening allows incidental water to escape.

PROJECT SCOPE AND REQUIREMENTS

The sequence covers sheet inspection, cutting and labeling, repeatable profile-wall templating, shell assembly, equal bay spacing, sloped-floor installation, roof and lid fitting, surface preparation, mounting, roll-path testing, drainage checks, and final poultry release.

Paint, tray liner, resilient egg cushion, decorative trim, supporting framing, and other after-build accessories are optional or site-specific and are not part of the base design.

BEGINNER-FRIENDLY FORMAT

The guide describes this as beginner-friendly when the master profile and equal-opening spacers are made carefully. Plan for approximately 8-12 hours before optional finish cure. One builder can assemble the box on a bench, but a helper is needed during wall mounting.

This wood subtotal excludes taxes, delivery, tools, hardware, finish, mounting materials, tray liner, and other non-wood items. DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

This is a digital product. No physical nesting box, plywood, hardware, tools, CNC-cut parts, mounting system, printed plans, bedding, eggs, or chickens will be shipped.

The DXF identifies inch units, but the buyer must verify scale, kerf, toolpaths, hold-down strategy, and machine settings in their own CNC software. CNC setup and operating instructions are not included.

The STL is supplied only for 3D model reference. STL files do not store measurement units, and the model does not replace the written guide or blueprints.

PLEASE REVIEW BEFORE BUILDING

Written dimensions control. Do not scale from pictures. Verify actual panel thickness, equal bay spacing, floor slope, egg travel, drainage, lid clearance, supporting structure, and animal-contact surfaces before use. Complete the practice-egg test and ensure the box remains clean, dry, stable, and secure.
